Underground Oil Tanks

The underground fuel oil storage tanks are made from Medium Density Polyethylene
(MDPE) meaning your tank will not corrode. They are suitable for both domestic and commercial use, however a popular option for small gardens and sensitive landscapes, giving you increased garden space and more secure storage.

With a standard invert depth of 500mm, they offer optimum strength and performance for underground installation. A basin at the top of the tank neck contains a 2″ fill point, off-take, contents gauge and overfill prevention valve, all of which are easily accessed via the lockable cover. A Tigerloop is also supplied with all underground fuel tanks, which will automatically remove air from the oil helping the burner to run more efficiently.  They come with a Leak Detection Monitor, designed to prevent releases into the environment by containing fuel in the interstitial space between the two tanks if a leak occurs from the inner tank.

These tanks are supplied with a 10 year warranty and meet several UK Control of Pollution regulations so are sufficiently compliant and certified. They have moulded in lifting eyes so that your tank will be easier to move and makes for a simpler installation.
