5000L Steel Bunded Generator Feed Tank

This 5000 litre bunded steel tank is designed as a feed tank for diesel generators. Ideal for agricultural or construction site applications. Very robust, easy to use and reliable. This tank is suitable for the storage of Derv (white diesel),Gas Oil (red diesel) or HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).

The tank is bunded which means there is an inner tank for the liquid storage, and the outer tank is designed to take 110% of the contents in unlikely event of a leak.

The specifications of the 5000 litre steel bunded generator feed tank are:

• 5000 litre (1100 gallon) capacity
• 2 no 1.5″ tank sockets
• 2″ fill point
• 1″ suction feed (removable) c/w foot valve & strainer
• 1″ return socket
• Lockable lid
• Fozmula spiral float gauge
• 2″ tank to bund vent
• 2″ bund vent
• Mounted on full width bearers
• Mounting plate on front of tank for external gauge / ancillary equipment
• Small tin of “touch-up” paint supplied with the tank.
• Standard colour is grey (RAL 7015) with orange (RAL 2001) lid.
• 10 year warranty

Other colours are available to order at extra cost – please supply RAL or BS colour numbers.

This tank complies with Oil Pollution Prevention Guidelines (England and Wales) 2002 PPG2. BS799 pt5.  These steel tanks are designed for above ground installations and should be installed by a suitably competent and qualified tank installer, in line with appropriate UK regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions.

Installation instructions are provided with the tank and should be adhered to accurately in order to validate the tanks warranty.
