HeatStream Electric PLUS with Internal Overflow 210 Litre
The HeatStream 250L Twin Coil is the result of collaboration between industry-leading experts in rotational-moulded plastic tanks and pressurised hot water systems. Superior to any other hot water system currently on the market, it produces mains-pressure hot water without the drawbacks of traditional systems such as vented/unvented storage cylinders and thermal stores.
HeatStream Electric PLUS systems are suitable for larger properties. A heat source such as a boiler, with an immersion heater for use with off-peak electricity, raises the temperature of heat transfer fluid sealed within a tank.
The tank is constructed in durable polypropylene which is long-lasting, non-corrosive and heat-durable, and robust enough to prevent damage during storage, shipping and installation.
Mains-pressure water is fed through a stainless steel coil immersed in the fluid, and as the coil is corrugated to maximise heat transfer through increased surface area, the water is quickly raised to the required temperature.
The Harlequin HeatStream 250L Twin Coil unit’s square footprint provides greater hot water storage potential within a smaller area – especially convenient where space is at a premium. It is also designed to fit easily through a standard-width doorway.
The addition of an internal overflow is suitable for installations where an internal waste pipe or external overflow are not possible.
As the system is open-vented it doesn’t need a Part G qualified installer or to be fitted with an expansion vessel or T&P relief valve. A Mandatory Annual Safety Inspection is not required.
With an ERP rating of B and a standing heat loss as low as 1.12kw per day, HeatStream meets the high standards of energy efficiency needed in today’s homes, helping specifiers meet SAP requirements and giving consumers real value for money.
