6″ Twin Rainwater Filter
This system is the recommended rainwater filter for large roof areas. The Twin Filter are best installed in chambers underground, or directly on the wall, but should be kept frost free. Installation in a standard 1000mm manhole is the usual. Another option is to, before delivery, install the filter in chamber at source.
Due to its two step cleaning system, it has a high level of filtering efficiency, independent of flow rate. The steep inclination of the filter cartridge enables the dirt to be continuously cleaned away. Therefore enabling the cleaned water to be stored in a collection tank. This two step filtration system is a tried and tested proven technology. We recommend that the filter be cleaned 1 or 2 times a year, depending on the amount of contamination collected.
Connection capacity for roof areas up to 800m². If you require connection to a bigger area, a bypass-installation can be fitted.

How the Twin Rainwater Filter works:
- The collected rainwater is equally distributed across the two cascades.
- Cleaning occurs through the cascades, the largest dirt particles are forced across the primary filter cascades, then directly to the sewer.
- The pre-filtered water then flows over the secondary filter sieve (mesh size 0,65 mm), here, the mesh structure then washes any remaining dirt into the sewer.
- The clean filtered water is now absorbed into the middle tank, and then directed through either connection into the storage tank.
- Dirt is sent directly to the sewer through the shaft.
