Using a diesel bowser to transport fuel around the farm can save time when it comes to the busiest times of the year. Take the fuel out to the vehicles so you don’t have to bring them back to the yard to refuel.
And did you know that Tanks-UK sell used (ex-hire / ex-fleet) bowsers as well as new ones? You can save money buying a used bowser in the knowledge that it has been fully checked over before we offer it for sale.
Our road tow fuel bowsers are approved for highway use, including UN certification and ADR approval where applicable.
For best durability and security we offer plastic in steel – with an inner plastic (non-corrosive) tank for the fuel and an outer steel shell for the bund. This makes for a very durable bowser which will last for years.
Alternatively, there are all steel bunded bowsers, with internal baffles to reduce surge during transport. Even better, we can supply steel diesel bowsers with plastic AdBlue® dispensers mounted next to them on the chassis.
Pumps, hoses and nozzles supplied – 24v or 12v battery operated pumps, or rotary hand pumps are available.
Do take especially care when refuelling in a field, because of the fire risk. Don’t allow smoking anywhere near and switch off engines, avoid anything that could cause sparks, etc.
